Highlights

Transforming a manual workflow into an automated feature, resulting in faster case turnaround, higher data accuracy, and stronger confidence in outputs

Analysts spent nearly half of their time navigating systems, finding results, and inputting information into CMS. The manual and repetitive nature of the work caused fatigue and led to missed findings resulting in rework and overall process delays.

I partnered with PM and devs to design and implement automated screening which integrated with existing databases to automatically import and cross check data against validation rules. The design emphasized clarity, transparency, and trust ensuring users understood what was automated and why certain results were flagged.

Retrospective

The automation eliminated case delays, reduced analyst workloads, and streamlined business processes 

Analysts spent more time interpreting insights and less time inputting information or fixing manual errors, resulting in faster turnaround, higher data accuracy, and stronger confidence in outputs. After launch, we received positive feedback from users as their work times shortened significantly and they were able to complete more in a shorter period of time.
